Rules for earning, holding and redeeming TakeAway Credits.

Version 1.1Effective 22 July 2026

1. Programme status

TakeAway Credits is a promotional subscription-credit programme operated by TakeAwayDriver. Referral attribution may be recorded before subscription charging and redemption are activated.

2. Promotional value, not cash

TakeAway Credits are not cash, wages, cryptocurrency, electronic money, an investment or a share of TakeAwayDriver revenue. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. Subject to these terms, one Credit is currently intended to provide £1 of promotional discount value against eligible TakeAwayDriver subscription charges.

3. Earning Credits

A referral is recorded when a genuine new member registers using a valid referral code or link. Registration or approval alone does not earn Credits. Driver referral rewards are intended to qualify after the referred Driver's first successful paid subscription. Takeaway Business referral rewards are intended to qualify in stages after the first successful paid subscription and, for the retention reward, after three months of continuous paid membership.

4. Current reward levels

For a qualifying Driver referral, the referrer is intended to receive 5 Credits and the new Driver 5 Credits. For a qualifying Takeaway Business referral, the referrer is intended to receive 10 Credits after the first successful paid subscription and a further 10 Credits after three months of continuous paid membership; the new Business is intended to receive 10 Credits after its first successful paid subscription. TakeAwayDriver may run clearly identified promotional campaigns with different reward levels.

5. Redemption and expiry

Credits may be used only against eligible TakeAwayDriver subscription charges. Unless a specific promotion states otherwise, no more than 50% of an eligible subscription charge may be met using Credits. Credits are issued as whole Credits and normally expire 12 months after issue. Oldest-expiring Credits should be used first.

6. Abuse, refunds and reversals

Duplicate, false, self-referred, automated or otherwise abusive activity is prohibited. TakeAwayDriver may withhold, reverse or cancel Credits where a qualifying payment is refunded, charged back, fraudulent, mistaken or otherwise fails the programme rules. Ledger history may be retained for audit purposes.

7. Changes

TakeAwayDriver may amend, pause or close the programme where reasonably necessary. We will aim to give fair notice of material changes. Because Credits have no cash value, no cash compensation is payable for unused Credits.

8. Privacy

We record referral attribution, qualifying events, Credit ledger entries and redemptions to administer the programme, prevent misuse and maintain an audit trail. See our Privacy Policy for further information.
